Race Day - Warrior Dash Arizona

Saturday we ran the Warrior Dash, Arizona, with a bunch of other people from CrossFit Nemesis.  It was 3.28 miles long with 14 obstacles.  We never got a picture of everyone since it's a little chaotic with gobs of people, but it was fun.  Definitely a hot day!  Temperatures read 93 degrees when we started, 100 after.
I ran with Tan (below) and Maria.  It was their first race and they did great!!  It was fun to run with them.  We didn't get any pictures after we were painted up with red paint, apparently.  And who knew acrylic paint is a good source of SPF...(at least it was non-toxic?)
Meet Trevor the fluffy dog.  His hair was in a ponytail.  SO CUTE.
The biggest mud obstacle was right before the finish, so afterwards we were a royal MESS and I didn't go get my camera, so the after pictures with Ben in them are somewhere else and hopefully make it to Facebook so I can nab them.  Ben was at the results tent at this time.
All in all it was fun and I'd do it again!!  The medals were cool, and Warrior Dash is really organized for as many people that run.  My only complaint was that there were no water obstacles until the last 3/4 of a mile, and upper 90s is so hot to run in dry.  But ya, fun!

We spent the rest of the weekend hanging out in Scottsdale with Eric and Tan (sushi yum), and looking for a place to live.  We looked at 11 different places total, and finally put money down to hold one and holy fetch it is adorable and less than eight minutes from Ben's work.  I cannot wait to take some pictures after everything is set in stone.

Happy Monday!!  Almost May.
