Neighborhood Horror No More

Here is the 4th and final part to the house of horrors saga.  Unless, of course, part 5 is required for something like new bff moved in, but that's still in the future.

February 15th We have creepy neighbors.

April 16th - Neighborhood Update

Moving on to today, October 4th, the house foreclosed and closed a couple of weeks ago!  Bentz and I have seen work being done while on our jaunts around the neighborhood and also while at the park (which we can now frequent, and DO often!!), so I imagine somebody is fixing it to flip.  I hope they are wearing full space suits to renovate, because man, no plumbing in there for years...

Walah, I have discovered interior pictures for your enjoyment.

These were used to sell the place, I wonder what it looked like inside before they got it "picture ready."

Despite being out of the know for the first coupla years, it is so nice to not have to worry about this house anymore and to have the neighborhood's safety restored.  (Well until the next battle our community is currently facing, but that's a whole other ballgame I'm not going to go into right now.)

So the lesson I have taken away:  you may never know who all of your neighbors are.  Be careful!  Keep an eye on on your kidlets.  It is okay to judge a house as sketch, because who knows, YOU MAY BE 100% RIGHT.  It's 2016, better safe than sorry.

  1. Holy crap! I can't believe those were the "good" pictures! YIKES! I'm super judgey and paranoid and I don't even care!

  2. Total fixer upper right lol. Always someone willing to buy low with the hope of selling high. Hope new owners are much better for the neighborhood.
